Hope Gallery would like to invite you to our spring/summer art show "All Hands on Deck" the Art of the Job Stopper.

This show will feature some incredibly talented tattoo artists from here in the state of CT, creating pieces featuring the art of hand tattoos.

This is not a show showcasing tattooed hands, but the artists vision, in art form, of hand tattoos. Whether the art is entirely tattoo-able or simply a fantastical concept of hand art.

As usual, snacks and beverages will be offered.

I hope that you will join us in supporting local artists on our opening night.

"Clean East Rock" Volunteer Trash Removal with Christian Perez and Tiff Taylor of Hope Gallery Tattoo February 29, 2024 17:53

Our Manager Tiff will be celebrating her 10 Year Anniversary here at Hope Gallery and she couldn't think of a better way to celebrate then to host another volunteer clean up!

This will be a 2 part event.

The first will be held at East Rock on March 24th from 10am - 1pm.

Bears Smokehouse has once again been gracious enough to offer all of our volunteers lunch once the clean up has ended

Since Tiff is one of the newest part time employees at New England Cider Company, she decided to join old and new and set up a second clean up. The details are still being ironed out on that one, but tentatively we are looking at April 7th at Hubbard Park. More information on that one to follow.

As you may or may not know, Tiff and Christian have been making a game of cleaning up litter from their local morning walk spots.
Once you start to see how much trash is laying around...it's impossible to unsee it!

East Rock has been one of the hardest for them to make a dent in on their own, so we're comin back with another group of amazing volunteers to see what we can do!

We will be starting at the top near the monument because we've learned that working your way down makes carrying the bags a bit easier.

If you have a wagon and grabbers....feel free to bring them!

You can stay on trail and have no problem finding plenty of litter....go off trail and there are stashes and treasures beyond your wildest imaginations.

We will provide gloves and trash bags to those who would like to join in.

True to their game, there will be a prize for the weirdest item found or most trash collected.
Diapers are an automatic win!

Once we've made it to the bottom, we will load up and head over to Bears Smokehouse who have been kind enough to provide free lunch to all those who take part!
We will have vouchers ready for you.

Christian and Tiff will handle sorting and disposal.

They try their best to recycle as much as possible.
Less in the landfill the better

Join Hope Gallery, and special guest artists, Jime Litwalk, Jackee, Sandelands, and Tom Strom, for a festive day of tattooing, during this cold, wet time of the year.

We’re bringing the tropic vibes with a special selection of Hawaiian and Tiki inspired flash to push away the cold winter chill.

First come, first to sit.

Refreshments and snacks will be available.

So spend your Sunday soaking up the make believe rays, and get some fun tiki inspired tattoos!

On December 9th we will be guests at New England Brewing Co. for a "TATS FOR TOTS" Tattoo Pop-up & Toy drive fundraiser in collaboration with our 20th anniversary!

From 12pm-7pm, Joe Capobianco, Christian Perez, Adam Harmon and Joe Santiago will be doing flash tattoos and Tiff will be there with plenty of our limited run 20th Anniversary swag!

There will be music, food and a limited edition release of the Sea Hag cans designed by the man himself, Joe Capobianco.

Bring a toy & get a free short pour. The toys collected will be donated to the @yalenewhavenhealth Children’s Hospital Toy Closet & Newhallville.

20th Anniversary Extravaganza at Hope Gallery!! September 1, 2023 13:10

In the late summer of 2003, Eric Merril, Julio Rodriguez, and I opened Hope Gallery, in down town New Haven. In the first year, we invited Tim Harris to join us, and shortly after that, Phil Young.
We had 6 great years in that location, on Chapel street. But I felt the need to get out of the downtown area, and do something a bit different.
This year marks Hope Galleries 20th year of business. The core group of artists has remained the same, minus Julio who went on to Open “Tattoolios” in Wallingford CT. Since than we’ve been blessed with artists, Christian Perez, Shane Baker, Adam Harmon, and Joe Santiago.
So I’d like to invite you all to help celebrate our 20 years of doing tattoos, art, and other unique events at the studio. We’ll be hosting a party, featuring art from all the fellers. As well as work from guests we’ve hosted over the years.
We’ll also have special features from down towns amazing cocktail bar, Ordinary. As well as CTs New England Brewing co. Bears Smokehouse will have their fantastic bbq food truck.
There will be limited t-shirts, stickers, prints, and, more for sale and giveaway. Raffles and all other sorts of stuff.
Hope to see you at Hope, Saturday October 7th at 3pm!
